Cates Heads Legion

Broadwater Post of the American Legion perfected its organization, adopted its Constitution and elected its officers at a meeting held in the court room Christmas Night. John B. Cates, formerly of the 91st Division, was elected first Commander of the Post. Edgar Hamper of the 4th Division was selected as Vice Commander, Fairfax McCarthy Adjutant, Jos. J. Davey Finance Officer, Ray Bruce Historian, and Art Hansen Master at Arms.
