LaVerna Village Nursing Home in Savannah, Missouri annually invites American Legion Post 287 to their 4th of July Evening Picnic Celebration. The American Legion performs the Meaning of the Folds of the Flag Ceremony, as well as replaces their outdoor American Flag during a Flag Retirement Ceremony.
