Membership Night is an annual tradition at Post 287. The event is held on the 1st Wednesday every September. The evening begins with the Fish & Chicken Fry from 5 - 7 p.m. Note: in the past we called this our annual Fish Fry night. But, as the membership demographics changed, our newer members wanted something other than fish! So chicken was added, during the last couple of years. At 7 p.m. we hold our regularly scheduled Legion meeting. During this meeting the officers are sworn in for the Post, Sons of the American Legion Squadron, and our Legion Rider Chapter.
