Legionnaire Ann Marie Roberts of Post 199, Fourth District Service Officer for The American Legion Department of Missouri, and Legionnaire John F. Kopp of Post 61, Third District Commander for The American Legion Department of Missouri, helped organize a Veterans Benefits Fair in Tarkio, Missouri on April 25, 2015.
The American Legion Band of Missouri provided music and local school children prepared homemade greeting cards for attending veterans. Sons of The American Legion Squadrons 199 and 287 worked with Auxiliary Unit 199 to provide a luncheon, and various organizations provided information and assistance to attendees such as the VAHCS, The Salvation Army, American Legion Department Assistant Service Officer Ron McBee was present to help with claims information.
