Allen - Schiffern Post 199 is named in honor of Sylvester Allen and Roy Schiffern who lost their lives in the Argonne Forest in France during World War I while serving with Company A, 139th Infantary.

Post 199 Helps Host Veterans Benefits Fair

Legionnaire Ann Marie Roberts of Post 199, Fourth District Service Officer for The American Legion Department of Missouri, and Legionnaire John F. Kopp of Post 61, Third District Commander for The American Legion Department of Missouri, helped organize a Veterans Benefits Fair in Tarkio, Missouri on April 25, 2015.
