Our annual charity golf tournament. Come join us for a fun filled day of championship golf. Your $100.fee covers 18 holes of golf, played with a best ball format, cart, lunch back at Post 29 and an auction for all sorts of merchandise.

The American Legion, Horace Orr Post 29, would like to extend an invitation to play and support our 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament set for Monday, September 18th at the Dogwood Country Club.

Last year, we were able to donate more than $12,000.00 to our community. Thanks to our sponsors and participants over the past 20 years, Post 29 has been able to provide over $168,000.00 to support local Law Enforcement and First Responders' Children’s Programs.

We hope to continue the success of our Annual Charity Golf Tournament through your support and participation. Last year more than 120 golfers played and enjoyed this event.

This year’s tournament will include a twist to the previous year’s format. Last year’s format was a four man best ball , (Ft. Lauderdale) competition. While still playing in a foursome, we added this little twist. This year’s event will feature the two player scramble best ball play. Yes, that means each foursome will consist of two teams competing for top honors. Single entry: $100.00 and 2 player team: $200.00, includes Greens Fees, Golf Cart, Gift Bag ($50.00 value), Complimentary Beverages, and Lunch. A fantastic BBQ luncheon and Auction will be held at the Post 29
Social Quarters following play.
