Post Namesake
"Bert Hodge": Henry Gilbert "Bert" Hodge was a member of the local firefighters before he went to war in WWI. He was killed in Fismes, France, August 10, 1918. Bert was born in Cardiff, Wales February 29, 1892 and was killed in action on August 10, 1918. He was the first Palatka casualty of WWI and Post 45 honors his namesake.
