The Patio area was dedicated to Virgil "Catfish" DeLong in memorium.
Virgil “Catfish” DeLong of Punta Gorda, passed awat February 28, 2001. Mr. DeLong was born July 31, 1930, at Nero, Kentucky, and moved to the Punta Gorda area in 1984 from Findlay, Ohio. He was a member of Son’s of the American Legion Post #103 in Punta Gorda, Loyal Order of the Moose #1693 Punta Gorda, VFW Post #212 in Findlay and was a member of the United Rubber Workers Union.
