For the first time, American Legion Post 2000 is holding a special event 14 years after 9/11 to remember the day that changed the nation. On the Tuesdays before Thanksgiving and Christmas, Post 2000 and the Auxiliary come together to baked cookies for the First Responders for the Holidays. We do this to show our appreciation to them, for all of the work that they do.

The Post 2000 and its Auxiliary come together to go to the CLC (Community Living Center) in Cheyenne, Wyoming to have a Root Beer Social with the Veterans there. We go there to show that there are still people that care and want to hear their stories.

This is the Second Annual Loveland Remembers 9/11, hosted by American Legion Post 2000. 15th Anniversary of the tragic event that shook our Nation. Tony Abbott was the Chairman of the September 11th Event. Special Guest Speaker was Loveland Fire Rescue Authority Capt. Full Story Kill the keg with Grimm brothers! We are donating a 1/2 BBL of Mountain Lager to The American Legion Post 2000 out of Loveland for our Veterans Day event, all of the proceeds from this keg go directly to The American Legion Post 2000.
