Labor Day parade three day celebration.
The celebration is started with a parade on main street. The park has many food venders. Main street, highway 131, is blocked off during celebration. The American Legion Bird-Howe Post 189 holds Bingo at the Fire station between 1:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. on the 2nd and 4th. with proceeds going to send boys to Boys State. We have been charging $0.25 per card per game. We could not do this with out the help of the Auxiliary some of them in their 90s.
