Post 15 Continued its Last Squad reunion well after 1980, the exact date of the final reunion is still unknown at this time but here is a roster of World War 1 veterans of Loveland. CO.

Department of Colorado ran a very short program known as Department Life membership. a One time fee to be paid to the department. This entiled the member never to pay again, but it is only recognized with in the Department since this is Not recognized by National or transferable to other depratments.
Honoring the day that will live infamy December 7th 1941
first time since 1999 the event was held inside the vets club due to extreem incliment weather.

The American Legion Post 15 birthday celebrating 90 years in Loveland.

Seen here is Commander Harold Gosse and Bart Bartholomew staffing the American Legion Awareness table at the Lagest Gun show in the state. The Tanner gun show. The event took place at the "Ranch" in Loveland. One of the many ways Post 15 gets out to the community to share what the Legion has to offer.
Candle light vigil brought new meaning to the kids who attend what happend on this day in 1941. Previously the event was held at noon. but with kids in school and people working. It was decied to do it at night. It was a huge hit. Phot taken by the Reporter Herald Photographer.
CSU in Ft Collins invited the Department commander Terri Clinton to the event along with other legion members who joined her. Operation Bear Hug was created by CSU students who are veterans to bring awareness of the increases suicide.
CSU also has an American Legion Post 1879
Legion Family Night for Post 15 gathering of Legion, Auxilary Unit, SAL, and Riders come together to recognize those who went above and beyond, those who have continious membership of 20,25,30,35 etc .

Department Jr. Vice Commander (2nd term) & Post 15 Adjutant Tony DuMosch was the only member from Post 15 who attended The American Legions National Convention.

In an effort to really get the city in volved with honoring The American Legion Post 15 100th birthday in Loveland a proclumation was made by the Mayor Jackie Marsh honoring this historical event all month.

June 2019 Post 15 celebrated its 100th birthday serving in its community. June 24 2019 Department of Colorado convention Tony recieved the Department Legionnaire of the year. Tony was also a canidate for Dept Sr, Vice Commander the first since the early 70's. Bill Luttes and Tony eneterd the M725 in this years Corn Roast parade wihith the ambulance as "Corn Aid".
They took home thrid place for parade entry for the Post.
A day to remember and educated. A short ceremony rememberin Dec7th 1941 has been taking place at Dwayne Webster Veterans Park since 1998 when the park was rededicated as Veterans Park.
The American Legion Post 15 has ensured this event takes place each year. Every effort is made to ensure the community is involved especially the kids/ Here they help fold a very large flag.
Frank Bustos served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1982 an enlisted sailor. Although a bit late, Bart Bartholomew was finally and formally recognized as a Post Commander for 3 continuous terms (2015-2018). Presenting the Award is the current Commander Wayne Shou.
Bart position as Post 15 Commander is the longest continuous serving Commander in its 100-year history.
