paper clipping from the Loveland Reporter Herald dated July 8th 1937, reads: It's carnival time in Loveland, The American Legion carnival opened here this afternoon for a weeks stay at the fairgrounds.
The carnival is the Anderson Schroeder show that includes rides, concessions and other entertainment. They played here for a week last summer.
The Loveland American Legion post is sponsoring the carnival which will be here from tonight through Saturday evening. Funds realized by the Legion will be used in its charity and welfare work.
There is a free gate during the afternoons and evenings and a galaxy of entertainment on the carnival program.
