In the Loveland, Larimer county paper: Veterans of Loveland at the annual Armistice Day "Reveille Breakfast" at the Community Building subscribed for nearly $3,000 of the notes which are being issued by the Associated Veterans of Loveland for the site and construction of the Veterans Club house and recreation center. Two hundred veterans attended the Breakfast Monday morning. Col H.E. Reed former Director of Selective Services for Colorado spoke on the meaning of Armistice Day. A "Reveille Gang" got out the fire engine Monday morning and with sirens going, drove about the city to arouse veterans in time for breakfast. The Armistice Night dance at the Armory was well attended.
